Very nice presentation. I too did a Spanish speaking student. Even though mine was only in 3rd grade he struggled with many of the same issues so I can see commonalities. It shows that your student was very comfortable with you since he was able to share his frustrations with you. Very nice job!
I love the graphic on the first slide! I also LOVE the graph you did with the errors. The slides have lots of words on them, just like mine but I know if I was able to present the slide show in person my slides would have less words so I am sure that is your case as well. Job well done!
You did a great job with this presentation, I especially liked how you graphed the errors..it made it very easy to read and follow. Some slides had a lot of information on them but you did a nice job in your explanations. My student had many of the same difficulties.
Great job! I had to chuckle a little when you stressed the importance of teaching vowel sounds and the "sh" sound. I had a college professor from Cuba who told us how much trouble she had by "sheets" in a department store! She had to really concentrate to have come out as "sheets" and not a four letter word that starts with "sh" and ends with "t"!
Your presentation was well done. Your graphics provided a lot of valuable and easy to understand information, especially the "error graph". Great Job :-)
